Formula E Rules for Upcoming Feature Race

Formula E Rules for Upcoming Feature Race

Alrighty gang! As I’m sure you’ve heard we’ve scheduled Round 8 of the 2019/2020 UF1 Series – the final round – for Sunday October 11th at Cal Raceway.

That being said, we will be running both the F1 and F2 classes, so make sure you check your cars for UF1 legality before that race.

In addition, we will also be running a Formula E Feature Race, prepping the next season. The rules are already up on the site (Rules and Regulations > Formula E) and have been updated to meet the TCS rules. Cars must be built per the manual, however, we will be allowing TAMIYA-ONLY hop-ups. The only hopups on the car that don’t need to be Tamiya-only are the spur and pinion gears. Any hop up on the car that is not a Tamiya part will deem your car illegal and be disqualified from that round. Please note that the Spec ESC/Motor and Tires we will be using are listed on the Rules and Regs page. This should be a really fun Spec class.

Both the F1 and F2 class will run the normal 3 minute qualifying, 3×15 minute mains and 2 pit stops. Formula E will run the 3 minute qualifying, 3×10 minute mains and 1 pit stop.
