UF1 RC 
Pit Shimizu closed it’s doors recently, shutting down the very popular tire manufacturing plant. This caused quite the stir since the hot tire for some time in the UF1 has been the 571/572 combo.
Good news, though – Schumacher Racing has acquired the Shimizu molding tools, rubber compounds and ancillary tire manufacturing equipment, meaning that in a short time, the Pits will be back on the market!
Look for these tires to be back in the UF1 in the upcoming months, hopefully just in time for the next series!
