The 2022/2023 UF1 Season is coming up fast and one of the features we want to bring back is the Constructor’s Championship!
The Constructor’s Championship works like this; grab a fellow competitor, create a team (real or imaginary) and work together throughout the season to put points on the board. It’s that easy!
Points will be calculated like so:
Team Driver 1 earns 275 points for the day in his individual race effort.
Team Driver 2 earns 280 points for the day in his individual race effort.
Their Team will earn 555 points towards the Constructor’s Championship!
End-of-Series trophies will be awarded for individual efforts as well as the Constructor’s Championship!
Constructor’s Championship Rules:
1. The Constructor’s Championship is only available to the F1 class.
2. Both cars on the ‘Team’ must have similar liveries; ie, Team Ferrari both have Ferrari-liveried cars.
3. The ‘Team’ can be real or imaginary, however the livery must be something that might actually appear as a real F1 team (fluorescent drips with bring-orange flames does not qualify as actual Team colors). If you forget your body at home and have to run your drippy body, your individual points will not count towards the Constructor’s score.
4. Throw-outs do NOT count towards Constructor’s Championship – all points will be used for the final total.
5. Should one of the two Team drivers not be able to make an event, you will be allowed ONE substitute driver during the Series. This must be cleared with the UF1 prior to the race event.
Ok – now the best part – time to create your Team!
