Exotek EFX2 F1 Carbon Conversion for the 3Racing FGX EVO | UF1 RC

Exotek EFX2 F1 Carbon Conversion for the 3Racing FGX EVO | UF1 RC

The 3Racing FGX was a good car, however it had some shortcomings that kept it from seeing the podium in the F1 class. The Gen2 version, the FGX EVO, has been released with quite a few refinements that help it show it’s true potential.

Exotek has noticed this potential and released a full carbon conversion to further enhance the performance of this machine. This conversion completely updates the EVO layout as well as cutting almost 100g from the car over the stock parts.

Some of the refinements:

– Wheelbase reduced by 10mm for increased corner speeds and more on-power grip.

– Adjustable LiPo cradle system with lateral battery mounting accepts standard shorty batteries. Allows adjusting weight bias (forward or back) on the fly as track conditions require.

– Heavy duty top plate system increases durability and lowers the CoG over the stock plate.

– New F104 style chassis mounted wing replaces the stock wing ‘beak’ and allows mounting of more durable and lighter F104/Xray wings (not included).

– Alloy front IFS mounting plate for secure IFS suspension operation.

– Machined front shocks with a soft spring set that allows a more plush damping compared to the stock units.

– Alloy front sway bar mount.

– Carbon rear camber mount plates that virtually eliminates the flex of the stock camber mounts.

– Longer rear turnbuckles for greater rear end stability.

– Carbon fiber chassis and components that are 2.5mm thick.

– Carbon front arm braces with relocated droop screw mounting for easier droop screw adjustment.

– Instructions sheets included that includes details for installing the optional #54357 F104 steering hubs for better F104-style tire choices.

– Compatible with the stock FGX body as well as lightweight F104/Xray-style F1 bodies (recommended for greater weight savings)
